INTERNATIONAL WHITE CANE DAY 2018

Through the support and assistance of The Friends of Thiruvalla Houston Chapter USA, KFB Kottayam district committee had distributed 400 white canes to the poor members in the southern district of Kerala. This programme held on 7th October 2018 Sunday at Bank Emplyees Hall Kottayam. More than 200 members and their escorts from various districts were participated in it. KFB State vice president Sri. Jaison Thomas presided the meeting, KFB General Secretary Sri. R. Sassidharan Pilla delivered a speech on the message of White Cane Day. The president of Friends of Thiruvalla Houston Chapter USA Sri. Eso Jacob inaugurated the distribution of white canes. The president of Kottayam press Club Sri. Sanu George Thomas gave a talk of The role of Media in the Relief work among Visually challenged people.
